With warm Mediterranean seas and good visibility the Costa Blanca has plenty to offer beginners and advanced scuba divers. The average visibility underwater is 20-meters and sea temperatures average 24 degrees. The Costa Blanca coastline is known for its rich sea life, currents from the deeper sea and outflow of organic material from the rivers combine to create a natural environment that allows marine life to flourish. When diving in this area of the Mediterranean we find impressive rock formations with peaks, pinnacles, underwater caves, landslides that have collapsed into formations on the seabed, historic shipwrecks and much more.

Javea is in the centre of all this, an exquisite town situated on the Northern Costa Blanca coastline and is a diver’s dream. With an assortment of diving sites that vary from shallow dives to more complex deep dives, Javea provides some splendid diving opportunities for novices and seasoned divers alike.
Javea offers sites like Tango Bay, a charming site which provides a thrilling dive for beginners. Cala Blanca offers a beautiful shallow dive and Granadella is a grand diving session for intermediate and advanced divers alike. Las Rastas is one of the most alluring diving sites in Javea and allows both beginners and advanced divers to have yet another great diving experience.

A little further away there are dive sites at the Cumbre de Sol Cavern and the Cumbre de Sol Cave, both offer stunning views and lead to an adrenaline-pumping diving session. Divers who plan to explore more can experience thrilling diving sessions at the diving sites of Cabo Negro, Cabo de San Antonio, and Cabo de San Martin, The Cathedral, Organ Cave and Organ Corner.
